Normal rice is a complex carbohydrate and so it is healthy for you.
However, if you are trying to watch your weight and already have carbs on the plate, or a particularly high calorie meal, then it may be a good idea to balance things out.
Cauliflower rice is the perfect accompaniment to any meal as it fills you up but has that neutral taste just like normal rice.
There is also the added benefit of this being one of your 5 a day, where as normal rice is not.
Meals this will go well with
- Breaded chicken and vegetables
- Stir fry

1 cauliflower [spacer height=”20px”]
1.Chop all the leaves and most of the stalk off the cauliflower.[spacer height=”20px”]
2.Chop the cauliflower into smaller pieces.[spacer height=”20px”]
3.Add to a food processor and blitz until rice size pieces are formed.[spacer height=”20px”]
6.Fluff the ‘rice’ up and enjoy.
