Serena Bansal is a UK HCPC Registered Dietitian with an interest in IBS and gut health.

Serena is passionate about providing people with gut issues the support that they need and aspires to educate people so that they can confidently manage their conditions.
She understands what it is like to live with a gut condition after having first-hand experience living with IBS. Serena was previously a patient here at The Food Treatment Clinic before joining the team. Her personal experience is a motivator to help others through her own experiences and to help them achieve symptom relief.
Serena joined The Food Treatment Clinic in 2022 as a Business Manager and Registered Dietitian. Before this, she completed a student internship with us for a year. She also completed her public health placement with us during the final year of her Dietetics degree, where she helped to develop our low FODMAP ebook.
Serena has a deep insight into the business and is responsible for the day to day operations. She interacts with all the team members, creating a happy working environment.
Serena supervises our student and dietitian interns to support them through their roles, helping to develop their skills and knowledge. She also ensures that our blog posts are evidence-based and up to date so that we can correctly educate you on the management of IBS and all things gut health!
